By implementing a fundraising campaign, Jordanian KAAD-Alumni helped launching the „Catholic Center for Media and Studies (CCMS)“ in Amman. Director Minister Rif’at Bader delivered insights into the media center’s plans.

KASEA Seminar in Kampala – An East-African network of KAAD Alumni

From 23rd to 25th November 2012, 60 scholars and alumni gathered in Kampala/Uganda to discuss the topic “Towards East African Integration: Regionalisation as a New Space for Social and Economic Change”.

The annual programme listing the seminars and events of 2013 has been published and can now be accessed online. It is released each year by the KAAD office in cooperation with a committee of KAAD-scholars.

Stephen Nana Ato Arthur (Ghana)

Stephen Nana Ato Arthur, born in 1961, has been a KAAD-scholar twice and between the two scholarships was not only a period of 12 years but also a very successful political career that has reached a peak in 2012: On 08.12.2012, KAAD got the news that he has won the constituency KEEA as a candidate for Parliament. He will therefore be the first alumnus of KAAD as a member of parliament in an African country.
