KAAD-Seminar programme for 2012 published
The annual programme listing the seminars and events of 2012 has been published and can now be accessed online. It is released each year by the KAAD office in cooperation with the “Bildungskommission”, the committee of KAAD-scholars deciding about the topics of the seminars.
KAAD offers a series of seminars (duration between three and four days), some of which are meant for the entire community of scholars while others are mainly for particulars continental groups. Seminar topics centre around issues of development policy, societal change and religious topics. Experts of different areas, such as science, politics, society, and church are invited as speakers. These seminars form an integral part of our scholarship programme throughout the time scholars spend in Germany. Seminars are also meant to prepare the ground for the scholars’ professional re-integration at home. Another key-aspect of KAAD educational work is to organize conferences and seminars in the home countries of our alumni. These events are co-organized by the head office in Bonn together with regional and local partners.
